Module Notes
Coordinating transportation between parents’ homes and between parenting time can be challenging, but essential.
Transportation Methods
- As agreed between the parents from time to time
- The sole responsibility of one parent
- The parent ending their parenting time always transports or vice versa
- Customized arrangements that best suit their specific circumstances or schedules
- Engage trusted family members or professional services to assist
Transportation Locations
In terms of pick-up and drop-off locations, it is common for the children to be picked up and dropped off at the other parent's home or at school or daycare, whichever is appropriate, unless otherwise agreed.
If there is a high level of conflict between you, it may make sense to have drop off between parents in a neutral location like a parking lot or other central location.
