Can I start my own accounts for the benefit of the children after the divorce?

As long as you can afford it and you do not neglect any required financial obligations in the divorce, you can save for the benefit of the children in any manner you want after divorce. Your co-parent has no right to information on accounts you create after the divorce is final.
