How do I calculate medical, dental and insurance premiums for the kids?

In order to determine the amount of premiums paid for the children alone, you should subtract the employee only premium amounts from the employee+children amounts.  If you have a private plan, you can usually obtain the children only premium amounts from the plan administrator.
