How do we share college expenses for our children?
College expenses are not usually considered a required expenses for your children. Because college aged kids are technically emancipated and not legally dependent on you for support, neither parent is obligated to pay for college. You can reach binding agreements on sharing college expenses voluntarily, but it is not usually required.
