You may not have to agree to an adjustment to the parenting plan for your co-parent’s event, but you might want to consider it. Providing opportunities for your children to have special experiences with family can help them feel loved and supported.  By accommodating your co-parent’s request for a special event, you will also help establish a reciprocal arrangement where you can also seek accommodations in the schedule to share these special moments with your family.
