Questions
Do I have to share my inheritance?
Jurisdictions may differ, but in most cases, inheritance that is clearly identifiable and hasn’t been spent or co-mingled with other assets is considered non-marital or separate property and will stay with the one recipient. You may have an obligation to provide evidence that the property was inherited.
