Questions

How can I determine the right time to introduce my children to my new significant other to ensure it is in their best interest?

To determine the right time, consider the stability and seriousness of your relationship, as well as your children's emotional readiness and current adjustment to the divorce. Consulting with a neutral parenting expert can provide additional insights and help ensure the timing is appropriate for everyone involved. And if your parenting plan requires it and/or you feel its important to keep your co-parent on the same page, discuss this before doing the introduction.  Having your co-parent support the introduction can help ease the transition for your children.
