Parenting
Questions

My co-parent doesn’t answer my calls when I want to talk to the children – what can I do?

Try setting up a regular schedule for phone calls or video chats to establish consistency. Discuss this issue calmly with your co-parent, emphasizing the importance of maintaining the children's connection with both parents, and consider using a co-parenting app to facilitate scheduled communication. You could seek mediation if the problem persists.  Keep in mind that communication with the children should be for their best interest, and not only for your own needs.  Sometimes too many phone calls or communication from the off-duty parent can be disruptive or make parenting more difficult.
